Fashioning Transformative, Equitable and Innovative Actions for a Sustainable Future for All
As part of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2026, this special side event brings together leaders from the United Nations, government, academia, Indigenous communities, youth, business, finance, and civil society to explore how creativity, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration can accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
The discussion will highlight regenerative manufacturing, circular economy solutions, sustainable materials, inclusive finance, youth leadership, Indigenous knowledge systems, and partnerships that create meaningful environmental and social impact. Through real-world examples and interdisciplinary dialogue, the event will demonstrate how fashion can serve as a powerful platform for climate action, biodiversity protection, peacebuilding, and sustainable development.
