This exhibition features submissions from countries worldwide, including a notable contribution from the United Nations: the Global Peace Flag Dress. This unique garment, crafted from repurposed fashion waste, carries messages of hope from individuals across 195 countries, symbolizing unity and sustainability. The Global Peace Flag initiative aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, promoting global peace and environmental responsibility. The exhibition at the Woodrow Wilson House offers visitors an opportunity to explore how fashion transcends borders, fostering dialogue and understanding among diverse cultures.
